Educational Robotics

 

This new discipline strengthens and supports learning and the development of certain skills by inventing, designing, assembling and running robots.  This creates a rich environment for acquiring both general and more specifically scientific skills.  The students will develop logical and formal thinking skills by using robots to solve problems.


The variable and multidisciplinary character of robotic education helps to develop a new technological culture that at the same time reinforces and adds to the student’s knowledge in applied math, science, technology and communication.  It also increases the creativity and the ability to work in a group.


The TIV Centers will include training workshops and subjects about robotics as part of its school curriculum as well as part of its afterschool program.
